BLE Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship
Building the Future, One Young CEO at a Time.
This unique, four-year scholarship empowers aspiring business leaders to build and grow a real business during high school. Students receive full tuition, startup capital, and access to mentorship, workshops, and pitch competitions.
BLE Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship
The BLE Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship is a one-of-a-kind, four-year scholarship designed for incoming 9th-grade students with a passion for business, innovation, and leadership. Through this program, students will build a real, legally registered business while earning their high school diploma.
This opportunity combines full tuition support, up to $1,000 in startup funding, and direct access to mentors, business workshops, and pitch competitions—giving students a powerful head start in entrepreneurship and life.
Qualifying Factors
Who is Eligible?
To qualify, applicants must:

Be incoming 9th-grade students

Be enrolled full-time in BLE Wollingsford Academy’s Entrepreneurship Program

Have a household income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL)

Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
Required Financial Documents:

Federal tax return (most recent)

Pay stubs from the last 60 days
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for young minds with:

Visionary ideas that solve real problems

A genuine passion for entrepreneurship

The discipline and motivation to balance business and academics

A strong character and desire to make a positive impact
Applicants do not need a minimum GPA, but they must demonstrate academic engagement and time management potential.
What the Scholarship Covers

100% full tuition for all 4 years of high school

Startup funding up to $5,000, released in milestone-based phases
-
Business mentorship from real-world professionals
-
Access to pitch competitions, workshops, and networking events
-
Upon graduation: Full legal ownership of the business is transferred to the student
How to Apply
Application Deadline:
Priority consideration for fall enrollment: June 30
Rolling admissions based on available funds
Application Steps:

Complete the online application form

Upload income verification documents
-
Submit the following:

Video business proposal outlining your idea

2–3 minute video pitch explaining your passion for entrepreneurship

Verifiable Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or community leader

Signed parent/guardian agreement allowing BLE to manage the business on the student’s behalf until graduation

(Optional) Attend a virtual interview if requested
Renewal Requirements
To maintain the scholarship each year, students must:

Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8

Show satisfactory academic and business progress

Submit an annual business progress report

Attend all mentorship sessions and entrepreneurship workshops

Abide by all program and school policies
