Future Leaders Scholarship
Empowering Middle-Income Families to Access High-Quality Private Education
Created for families who don’t qualify for traditional low-income aid but still need support, this scholarship helps students gain access to an excellent private virtual education while encouraging leadership and community involvement.
BLE Future Leaders Scholarship
At BLE Wollingsford Academy, we recognize that many hardworking families fall into a financial gap—they earn too much to qualify for traditional low-income aid, yet still struggle to afford private school tuition. The BLE Future Leaders Scholarship was created with these families in mind.
This scholarship supports 6–12 students from middle-income households, offering 50% tuition coverage and encouraging student leadership, service, and academic excellence. It’s our way of ensuring that a family’s income doesn’t limit a student’s potential.
What the Scholarship Includes

10% Sibling Discount (applied automatically for families with multiple enrolled students)

Support for students who demonstrate academic promise, leadership, and a strong personal drive

Renewable each year with continued eligibility
Qualifying Factors
Who is Eligible?

Household income must be $160,000 or less (verified via tax return and income documents)

Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0

Student must show evidence of leadership or community service through clubs, volunteering, or personal initiatives

Submit a 500-word student video essay:
“How a BLE Wollingsford Academy education will help me reach my goals.”

What the Scholarship Covers
Eligible families receive:

50% tuition coverage for one academic year

10% sibling discount if more than one child is enrolled

Direct application of funds to the student’s tuition account
This scholarship provides significant tuition relief while giving your student access to a high-quality virtual education built around growth, leadership, and opportunity.
How to Apply
Applying is simple and done completely online. Follow these steps:

Complete the online scholarship application

Upload required documents:

Federal tax return and income verification
-
Recent school report cards or transcripts (1–2 years)

Submit a 500-word essay (video format encouraged):
“How a BLE Wollingsford Academy education will help me reach my goals.”

(Optional): Upload a letter of recommendation

(Optional): Attend a virtual interview if requested by the scholarship committee
Priority Deadline: June 30
Rolling applications are accepted based on available funds.
Renewal Requirements
This scholarship is renewable annually, based on the following:

Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0

Submit updated financial documents each year

Complete at least one leadership or community service project annually

Remain in good academic and behavioral standing

Participate in schoolwide events and enrichment opportunities
